History. Tradition of production.

More then 200 years ago, at the end of the 18th century, first production of glass began in deep forests of the Jizera Mountains, in the area of today's Desna. Since those times this tradition has been carefully developed by generations of famous Czech glass makers. During last 50 years the main role in this process has been belonging to JABLONEX GROUP a.s.

On 1 October, 2005, Ornela, Bizuterie Ceska Mincovna, Zeleznobrodske sklo and Bohemian Jewelry merged to form a single unit - Jablonex Group.

JABLONEX GROUP a.s. forms a glass-melting base of the whole Bohemian glass jewellery industry and its products are widely used as a semiproduct for great number of other companies. The exploitation of long standing experience and skill of local glassmakers, together with the unique technologies, enables production in a wide colour and assortment line. The company's headquaters and production are located in Desna and Zasada, 120 km Northern from Prague.
